Real talk for

messy minds

Understanding the anxiety beneath the anxiety, together

One worry replaces another. You replay conversations, imagine the worst, or feel constantly on edge without really knowing why. Even when life looks good on the outside, your mind rarely gets a moment to rest.

If you're wondering whether therapy might help, you're welcome to get in touch for a free consultation.

You don't have to keep carrying it on your own

Perhaps you've become so used to living with anxiety that it now feels like part of who you are. You might spend your days overthinking, putting everyone else first, or trying to stay in control. From the outside, you seem to be coping. Inside, it can feel exhausting.

Therapy offers something different, a place where you don't have to keep everything together, where we can slow things down and begin to understand what's really going on beneath the surface.

Why anxiety keeps showing up

When anxiety feels overwhelming, it's natural to want it to stop. But anxiety is often trying to tell us something important.

Psychodynamic therapy isn't about endlessly analysing your past. Through convesration, it's about becoming curious about the patterns, emotions, and relationships that continue to influence your life today. By understanding those patterns together, lasting change becomes possible.

What working together feels like

Many people worry about starting therapy because they feel the need to know exactly what to say. You don't. Our sessions are simply conversations. Sometimes we'll explore what's happening in your life now. Other times we will notice patterns that have quietly shaped the way you relate yourself to others.

We'll work to a pace that feels comfortable, without judgement or pressure. My role is not to tell you what to do, but to help you understand yourself in a way that brings you greater freedom.

Anxiety wears many masks

Not everyone's anxiety looks the same. For some people it's constant overthinking. For others it's always being the strong one, avoiding conflict, striving for perfection, or feeling permanently on edge. Whatever form it takes, therapy offers a space to understand what's driving those patterns and begin to respond to them differently.

Overthinking

You replay conversations and imagine the worst.

People-pleasing

You struggle to put your own needs first.

Relationships

Fear of judgement or disappointing others.

Always on edge

Your mind or body rarely gets the chance to relax.

Start with a conversation

Reaching out can feel like a big step, and simply making contact is enough.

I offer a free 20-minute consultation where we can talk about what's bringing you to therapy, answer any questions you may have, and see whether working together feels right.
