Unpacking the past
I know how it can feel when your mind won’t switch off, or when one worry is quickly replaced by another. It can be exhausting trying to keep everything going on your own.
In our work together, we’ll take the time to slow things down and make sense of what’s been weighing on you — at a pace that feels right for you.
My approach is thoughtful and conversational. We’ll look at patterns in how you think and feel, including how past experiences may still be shaping things today.
Over time, this can help things feel clearer, more manageable, and less overwhelming.
Taking the first step isn’t easy — but you don’t have to do it alone.

How we work together
"What happens when people open their hearts? They get better." — Haruki Murakami (author)
When you are dealing with intense anxiety or deep worry, it can feel like you are constantly trying to bottle up your emotions. You might find yourself always on guard, exhausted from carrying the pressure, and terrified that it will eventually overwhelm you. My role is to provide a solid, reliable psychological 'container' for those heavy experiences. I am here to hold that space securely, helping you unpack, process, and make sense of these emotions.
My commitment to providing a secure and safe environment is fully backed by my professional status as a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). Holding a DipHE (Distinction, University of Greenwich) in Psychodynamic Counselling, my practice is strictly guided by the BACP Ethical Framework.
I regularly attend CPD training and use contemporary psychological research to keep our ongoing sessions fresh supportive.
